Qibli (ex-friend / classmate)

Qibli and Trinket met in the Magic Academy. Trinket's magic is far more powerful than Qibli's, and she would teach Qibli to do a lot of spells she figured out on her own.

Qibli and Trinket's biggest difference is this: Trinket is mischevious and annoying to adults, but she's not a rule-breaker. Qibli is quiet and the teacher's pet, but she would break the law in a heartbeat -- it would even give her the thrills.

That's how come their friendship broke over the discovery of A Guide to Magic. Qibli loved it. Trinket wouldn't let her touch it.

After Qibli murdered Nebula and made away with the book, Trinket, barely 18, was made the new Arch-Magician. She vowed to get Qibli if it's the last thing she does.

Tephra (teammate)

Tephra and Trinket teamed up together with Melody to track down Qibli.

Nebula (teacher)

Nebula cared about Trinket a lot, because she knew Trinket was most likely her successor. She was genuinely nice to Trinket, but also indoctrinated her every chance she could so she'd never dream of being anything but a law-abiding Kismet loyalist.

Trinket was heartbroken at Nebula's death and often wondered whether she was capable of filling the gap she left.

Kismet (boss)

Kismet had been watching Trinket ever since she became the new Arch-Magician, and she satisfied him. Nebula trained her well.

Melody (teammate)

Trinket went to Melody for help catching Qibli. Melody of course pulled Tephra along too.
